Scope first. Nurses and technicians calculate and verify what the veterinarian prescribed — they never choose the drug or the dose. Check your jurisdiction.

Six modules · six GlobalVet frameworks

The nurse's side of every anesthetic

V.A.P.O.R. for the machine, S.E.T.U.P. for the patient, the C.H.A.R.T. loop for monitoring and the record, L.A.B.E.L. for drug-volume math, A.W.A.K.E. for recovery and H.A.N.D. for handover and speaking up.

One team language

Built inside the Anesthesia Academy

The study order includes 13 lessons from the GlobalVet Anesthesia Academy, each with a note on why a nurse needs it, so the nurse and the veterinarian share the same frameworks at handover.

Questions

Before you enroll

Who is this course for?

Veterinary nurses and technicians (US RVT/CVT/LVT, UK RVN, Australian and New Zealand vet nurses, and practices in Hong Kong and across Asia) who set up, monitor and recover small-animal anesthetics, plus experienced assistants working under veterinary supervision and new graduates in their first anesthesia duties. No prior anesthesia certification is assumed.

Is this accredited CE or a credential?

No, and it never claims to be. It is a certificate of completion, not accredited CE. It does not confer or imply VTS, AVTAA, NAVTA, RCVS, AVA or any other designation, and scope of practice differs by jurisdiction (check your jurisdiction).

Does it teach me to choose drugs and doses?

No. The track teaches you to calculate and verify the volumes from the veterinarian's written order, double-check them, label and log them safely, and run the fluids and pumps the vet prescribes. Choosing drugs and doses is the veterinarian's decision, and that boundary is taught explicitly.

What exactly do I get?

Lifetime access inside the GlobalVet Anesthesia Academy: 30 nurse lessons across 6 modules plus 13 reused Academy lessons in one study order, with 129 gate questions and progress tracking; 10 branching nurse cases on a live monitor, 6 interactive nurse tools, a 30-question graded final exam with retake and a shareable certificate of completion. Future updates to the track are included.

Can I buy it for my whole clinic?

Yes. A 5-seat clinic licence (US$497) puts your nursing team through the same track and the same workflow for machine checks, drug math, charting and handover. Email info@globalvetco.com to set it up; for larger teams, ask for seat pricing.

What if it is not right for me?
